The Cantr reddit seems like a busy place lately. Fizi, once the new version of Epoch is ready for beta testing you should make sure to advertise there too, not just on the forum. I'm not familiar with too many subreddits, are there any good ones related to writing to browse? Interactive fiction especially is what I've been into lately. The old school parser IF and choose your own adventure stuff as as well.

Oh its been busy all right. Complaining about all the reasons why Cantr is a a dying game and why it was so pointless for it to happen. If this game gets to beta you wont have to worry about needing players. You will get a lot players with experience with this game. Just dont put kids in game. Thats what killed FTO. And Magic.

The number of active English players that have quit in the last year alone could easily populate a Treefeather sized island all on their own.

We can expect most of Epoch's players to come from either Cantr or FTO when it starts out, they're the established audience for this kind of game and so I think it's relevant. Also, the Cantr staff has now proven themselves to be absolutely fucking terrified at even the slightest hint of competition. All the more reason players should be made aware of alternatives when Epoch is ready for beta.

the player base will flock. Mistakes made in FTO and Cantr are learned and wont be done in this game. There are a ton of info to poor through and use if this game wants.
